“As an author trying to address where and how my writing is born I can only say that I lean heavily on an unknown force in my head that, thus far, grants me access to broken and kaleidoscopic images ranging far, deep, and wide in both conscious and (I assume) subconscious memory which I then try to revivify and assemble on paper with a hopeful and natural narrative weave.”

David Nash was born in Utah and grew up living in California, Indiana, the Philippines, New York, Taiwan,  Arizona, and Argentina.  He earned his master’s degree in fiction from the Arizona State University M.F.A. program and now lives and works in New York City.  Van Gogh's Ear, Nash's first published novel Van Gogh’s Ear was published by Star Cloud Press, an independent press based in Arizona.  It has received numerous positive critical reviews and is available through www.amazon.com.
